Our Beliefs

The Scriptures

We Believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible and inerrant Word of God. Completely and fully preserved by God in the King James Bible. Psalms 119:160; Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21

The Trinity

We believe that there is one God, self-existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All three are equally God and are not ranked in any order. Matthew 3:16,17; 28:19; John 1:1,14; 14:16,17; 15:26; 2 Corinthians 13:14

The Lord Jesus Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and died for the sins of all mankind. He was buried and rose again the third day, victorious over death, hell and the grave. We also believe that He ascended back to Heaven where He sits on the right hand of God where He makes intercession for the believer.  We believe also in the pre tribulation, pre millennial return of Christ. First in the clouds to receive His Church (the Rapture), then second at the end of the Tribulation period where He will come back to this earth (The Revelation) and then set up His Righteous Kingdom. Luke 1:26-35; 24:1-7; Acts 1:9; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-11; Hebrews 4:15; 8:1; 1 Peter 2:21

The Holy Ghost

We believe that the Holy Spirit or the Comforter was sent to all believers after the Lords ascension. He has come to lead us into all truth, point the world to Christ.  He is sent to reprove the world of sin, righteousness and judgment, and make intersession for us. John 14:16,17; 16:7-11; Romans 8:26,27; 1 Corinthians 12:13

Mankind

We believe that mankind was made in the image of God, innocent and with the right to choose whether to obey or disobey God. Adam and Eve chose to disobey God in the garden of Eden and thus plunged all mankind into sin. Mankind is now born with a sin nature and completely unable to save themselves. Genesis 1:26,27; 2:7,16,17; 3; Romans 3:10 5:12; 18,23; Ephesians 2:1-3,8,9

Salvation

We believe Salvation is a completely free gift which was purchased at Calvary by the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation freely given to all who will receive it. Salvation is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, conviction by the Holy Ghost and repentance on the part of the sinner is a must but are all a grace of God! Once Salvation is received we believe that those saved are given eternal life and are eternally secured in Salvation, never able to be lost again!   John 3:3,16,17; 10:27-29; Romans 6:3,4; 8:23; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Colossians 3:3

Separation

We believe that each believer is called upon by God through the word, to reckon himself dead unto sin and alive unto God, and that he is enabled and commanded to separate himself from the sinful practices, conduct, and outlook of the world and to live soberly and righteously in this present world. Also separating from false teachers and apostate faiths.  John 2: 15- 17; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18; Romans 6:1; 16:17

Baptism

We believe that the commandment of Lord Jesus Christ to be baptized is directed to every believer in Christ; and that failure or refusal to be baptized is disobedience to Christ. We also believe that the Scriptures teach that Baptism by immersion in water is the only correct mode of baptism. Matthew 3:16; 28:19; Mark 16: 15, 16; Romans 6:3,4

Communion

We believe that the observance of the Lord’s Table or Communion is a command of the Lord as expressed at the institution of this memorial at His last Passover; that the elements are only a representative of the Lords Body and Blood and that the ordnance is a memorial to His death on our behalf.  We also believe that it should be observed only by those who are redeemed by the Blood of Christ and in fellowship with Him. Matthew 26:26-28; 1 Corinthians 11:20-34
